Types of Foods for Detox
There are various kinds of foods for detoxing. Let’s address a couple of them in order to give you an idea, because you already have a few options.
The first is the Master Cleanse Detox Diet, a mixture of water-blended cayenne pepper, lemon juice and maple syrup. This is known to be a milder diet since easily consumed maple syrup helps control the release of toxins as stored fat and therefore eventually transforms it to energy.
Juice Easy, which can come from fruits, vegetables or a mixture of both is another form of liquid detox diet. This is similar to the master cleanse detox diet, but you get more advantages that are proven to help the body’s rejuvenating process, such as enzymes, minerals and vitamins. Best of all, without generating digestive enzymes, the body is able to assimilate the juices directly.
The Mono Fruit Detox Diet is next. You can already see from the word mono that this diet only includes consuming one form of fruit. The good thing about this diet is that it can be followed for a long period of time as the fruit gives organic water to the body that helps the cells of the body to clean themselves. When inside, it can quickly go out and take hazardous waste materials with it.
There is one other drawback of the use of only one fruit. It makes the pH of your body more stable and maintains the levels of sugar less volatile in your bloodstream.
We have the Raw Food Elimination Diet as well. Eating raw food here helps avoid the lack of vitamins, minerals and other essentials that are caused by cooking or washing. It is also possible for the body to get digestive enzymes that aid in the metabolic process and improve the immune system. The great thing about eating raw food is that it encourages optimal ratios of potassium to sodium to improve cell activity and pH control, which is the ultimate purpose of a detox diet.
Many of us cannot consume three meals of raw food a day. The Hallelujah diet, which requires you to consume 85% of raw foods and 15% of fried foods, is therefore an option. The catch is that it can only be done at the end of the evening meal with the cooked part. You’ll have to miss breakfast as well and only have barley grass drinks and new vegetable juices instead.
If you are used to it it can take some time to miss breakfast and the change will best be achieved by substituting almond milk for your bacon and eggs, new fruit salad, sprouted grain toast with almond butter and raw whole grain granola.
The diuretic diet is also present. This form of detox diet does not decrease body fat, but tends to remove fluid from the body. Any herbs and vegetables, such as asparagus, artichoke, celery seed, dandelion, juniper berries, melon, parsley, and watercress, may provide this. This is available in dietary additives as well and can also be found in drinks such as chocolate, coke, and tea.
This are just some of the available detox diets that are intended to cleanse the body. Do any analysis to find other options if you are not into those that were listed. Please note to first visit the doctor so that with your general physical fitness, you are confident that this is healthy.
